The new season of Travel Talks offers some new speakers as well as a number of familar speakers giving presentations of their travels.

“New Zealand; The Four Elements” Les and Pauline Mason open the season as they describe New Zealand’s Earth, Air, Fire and Water, as they travel around New Zealand on a long excursion, visiting family.

In his talk “Land of the Rising Sun” Ray Wilson shows us Japan itself, aspects of Japanese life, and the tensions between ancient traditions and modern innovation.

“An Englishman in Patagonia” A classic story from John Pilkington’s early travels, recounting eight months in what has become known as “The Uttermost Part of the Planet.”

With Pax Garabedian we travel to Java and Sumatra just “Two out of 13,667 Islands,” visiting orangutans in Sumatra, ancient temples including Borobadur, and Mount Bromo in Java and meeting smiling people.

Keith and Sue Clark will take us to “The Other Half of Chile” on their 2nd visit to the country, exploring the Chiloe Islands, the Lake District, the Wine region, & spectacular Atacama Desert.
