Help would be appreciated.

Following the recent sad passing of our friend and colleague Gordon Halliwell, and the stepping down of a couple of committee members, we are looking for someone to lend a hand on occasion. If you feel you could perhaps help cover the welcome desk or any other small task, it would really be appreciated.
Please either contact any member of the committee, as we really would be grateful of any help however small to ensure the club continues to thrive. Many thanks

Gordon Gray Halliwell   1927-2018,   Aged 91years
Gordon was a long serving member of both the Club and your Committee, who passed away recently. We have added an obituary which can be read here.

This year's Programme includes a number of countries that we have not previously visited,  as well as some new perspectives on some previsously visited locations.

Members views
Last season we asked members to reflect and comment on what they thought about our Travel Talks. We asked them to distil these thoughts into single words. We have compiled them as a graphic summary. The size of the words reflect the frequency of the comment.

Graphic display of words about What our members think.

Thanks to those who have contributed images to the Members' Gallery

In the News Again, and again...
Pauline Mason, our Secretary is working tirelessly to get us in the local press.  The Blackpool Gazette and the Lytham Express now publish a number of her reports and notifications of forthcoming talks. The free ' Local Lists' which are published monthly for our local areas, also list the titles of each talk, generally on a monthly basis. Keep a lookout for them and please pass on this information to friends and associates.
